Another user on a forum page on Samsung's website said they noticed Samsung Messages became "very buggy" after an update from the carrier. They said the images were sent via the default texting app on the smartphones, Samsung Messages.
Multiple people have reported photos from their Samsung Galaxy phones have been sent to people randomly - their entire gallery, in some cases. Many users turned to Reddit to voice their complaints. However, there was record of it on Tmobile logs.
Emergency services called to serious incident Gorleston beach
A spokeswoman said: "We attended the incident this morning at Gorleston beach, involving a patient using inflatable equipment". The East of England Ambulance Service said it received more than a dozen calls related to the incident, according to PA.
"Oddly enough, my wife's phone did that last night, and mine did it the night before", said Reddit user Sfkn123. The issue appears to be linked to the Samsung messages update.
For its part, T-Mobile tells the Verge the bug is "not a T-Mobile issue" and says it is a problem on Samsung's end. Users only find out the photos have been sent when they're asked about it. Samsung has said it's now looking into the problem. "We encourage any customers who may have questions or concerns to contact their local Customer Service center at 1-800-SAMSUNG".
