Fewer England fans made the journey to watch their team's first World Cup match in Russian Federation than some expected, but one made a special effort, sailing from Bulgaria to Volgograd on a yacht. Koo Jacheol nearly gave Korea Republic a shock lead in the 53rd minute but his header went just wide of the near post.

Barring a late injury, Kane is a certainty to start at the Volgograd Arena on Monday, with Southgate having already decided upon his starting XI.
