Harry Kane set to sign new Tottenham contract worth double his current deal- reports

Kane scored 41 goals in all competitions in 2017/18

Harry Kane has committed his long-term future to Tottenham Hotspur by signing a new SIX-YEAR contract with the Premier League club.

The new deal means that the 24-year-old will lead the club into their new stadium, which is set to open at the beginning of the 2018-19 season.

Chairman Daniel Levy is adapting his stringent wage structure at the club to ensure his stars don't push to leave, and this will prove to be vitally important as Spurs prepare to move into their brand new stadium.

"I'm really excited, it's a proud day", Kane said on tottenhamhotspur.com. It's been a great few seasons, so I'm looking forward to the future.

The 55-year-old businessman was seen walking slowly to a waiting SUV as he was surrounded by photographers. Andy Spade said he was appalled that "a private message to my daughter" had been shared with the media.

"I've just signed a new contract".

Kane has established himself as one of the Premier League's elite players in recent seasons after coming through the ranks at Spurs and he has been rewarded for his fine form.

Some had speculated Kane would want a move away so he could win some silverware as despite Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino gaining plaudits for the attractive style of football they play they are yet to win a trophy under him since he took over in 2014.

He made his debut in an August 2011 Europa League tie with Hearts and has had loan spells at Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester.

The Warriors’ imperfection has defined their NBA Finals run
After dropping a monstrous 51 points in Game 1 of the Finals, James' approach did appear different in Games 2 , 3, and 4. The Cavaliers won the rematch the next year but Golden State has handled them easily to finish the last two seasons.

Kane is now the leading scorer in the Premier League era for Tottenham after surpassing Teddy Sheringham's total of 97.

He netted 56 goals for Spurs and England in the 2017 calendar year.

He has scored 135 goals over the four seasons for Tottenham and further eight in 15 England caps.

Kane heads into the World Cup as England captain looking to add to his two Premier League Golden Boots with an worldwide equivalent.

Chris Bosh believes former teammate LeBron James could join the Rockets
"It's like the next Avengers movie - Golden State with 100 superheroes and then Houston with 100 superheroes and they fight". With the dynamic that Houston has, you can argue that they could have taken Golden State down this year.

All five of Kane's appearances as captain have come under Gareth Southgate. I'm just excited to keep on the train and see where it can go.
