It will be partly sunny Monday over Long Island with temperatures expected to hit highs in the mid-60s and winds remaining light, forecasters said. Monday night's low will dip into the upper 50s.

As the week progresses on into Wednesday high pressure will continue to build along with a more favorable pattern for warmer temperatures. Weather models are in disagreement on the timing of the cold front and showers.
