Qatar Airways orders five B777 freighters worth $1.7 billion

Qatar Airways has taken a minority stake in JetSuite, a leading United States private aviation company, and indirectly in JetSuiteX.

Qatar Airways operates an Airbus A320 aircraft to both Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, which features 12 seats in business and 132 seats in economy Class.

With this investment in JetSuite, Inc., Qatar Airways will help fuel the growth of JetSuite's private aviation business, which now focuses on light and very light jets. The investment extends to JetSuiteX, the sibling company to JetSuite, further accelerating the expansion of its semi-private air service on the USA west coast and beyond.

Qatar Airways, the national carrier of Qatar, resumed its services to two major Iraqi cities Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, local media reported Wednesday.
