Nawaz Sharif seeks confrontation in judiciary, Parliament: Bilawal

Embattled Pakistani politician and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday criticised the Supreme Court verdict disqualifying him as ruling party head and claimed an attempt has been made to oust him from politics.

Haq, accompanied by Anosha Rahman and Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, told media outside the election commission office that as chairman of the party he too, had the authority to issue party tickets. "The PML-N government through parliament tends to bulldoze the court decisions, which is unacceptable".
