Three British people have died after a tourist helicopter crashed in the Grand Canyon in the USA state of Arizona.

Three passengers were confirmed dead.

Rescue workers had difficulty accessing the scene, said Bradley, owing to "high winds, the darkness, and the extreme rugged terrain".

Crews will work Sunday to retrieve the bodies of those who died in the crash, Bradley said, but weather conditions were hampering efforts.

Calls to Papillon's media representatives were not immediately returned Saturday.
