A prosecutor says a MA woman who stabbed her two young children to death did so as part of a "ritual".
Plymouth Country District Attorney Timothy Cruz said the victims, who were found dead inside the third-floor apartment at 247 Prospect St., were 5 and 8 years old. He said the two brothers were pronounced dead at the scene, sparking a homicide investigation. "This was a gruesome and disturbing and, most of all, a heartbreaking crime".
Prosecutors allege that Latarsha Sanders, 43, stabbed her 8-year-old son Edson "Marlon" Brito four-dozen times with a kitchen knife as part of a "ritual incident" that may be related to "Voodoo stuff" according to interviews with police.
