Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey has been arrested for third-degree robbery after an incident with an Uber driver in his native Alabama.

According to the police report, Humphrey was riding in the auto with two women and borrowed a phone charger, valued at $15, from the driver. A third-degree robbery is considered a Class C felony in the state of Alabama. The incident reportedly took place in the early morning of January 13 at the Hotel Capstone on Alabama's campus, with the victim listed as a 30-year-old man. The suspect - presumably Humphrey - was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. When the auto reached Humphrey's destination, he would not return the charger and allegedly grabbed several other cables from the vehicle.

Baltimore released a statement about Humphrey's arrest that didn't say much of anything, aside from the fact that Humphrey is cooperating with the police.

Humphrey, who just wrapped up his rookie season with the Ravens, recorded 34 tackles, two interceptions and defended 11 passes. The driver told police that Humphrey elbowed him when he tried to recover the property.

The former Alabama player was booked in Tuscaloosa County Jail on $2,500 bond.

Humphrey was taken 16th overall in the 2017 National Football League draft by the Ravens.

The Ravens issued a statement on the weird incident Thursday, claiming Humphrey told them the whole thing was a "misunderstanding". "We are monitoring the situation", the Ravens said in a statement.

Humphrey's most recent post on Twitter Thursday morning said only "Life is good".
