Sources told CNN on Tuesday that Mueller has indicated interest in questioning President Donald Trump about his dismissals of former FBI Director James Comey and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

President Trump on Tuesday addressed reports that Attorney General Jeff Sessions has testified before Robert Mueller's special counsel, and that Sessions, upon his request, had pressured FBI Director Christopher Wray to force out FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

When President Trump fired Acting Attorney General Sally Yates over her refusal to defend his travel ban, Boente took over and said he would defend the measure.
