The ban comes as firefighters continue to battle a bushfire that is still raging through the Royal National Park along Sir Bertram Stevens Drive between Garie Beach and Wattamolla Beach.
In the Southern Tablelands of NSW, a bushfire has burnt more than 1600 hectares at Bannaby, with firefighters working overnight to establish and strengthen containment lines.
The national park will remain closed today as conditions are forecast to worsen.
