Orange, Rutland and Windsor counties will have a winter weather advisory in effect from 9 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Saturday.

Rain will change over to sleet and freezing rain, then to all snow, throughout northeast IN and northwest OH beginning tonight, the National Weather Service said. On Friday, rain will turn to freezing rain, to sleet and then to snow as colder air spreads into the area.

The NWS says this combination of snow and ice will result in hard travel conditions, including slippery roads and limited visibilities, potentially affecting both the morning and evening commutes on Friday.
